This is one of the most comfortable bras I have owned and is not an underwire which is usually necessary for my fullness. If you need a larger size, get this bra; you will love it.
I read reviews before purchasing and I’m not sure why no one mentions how incredibly small these run. I ordered a 38DDD and the band only measured 26” with definitely not 10-12” of stretch I could barely fasten it. When I tried to pull the cups on it was laughable there was no way that was happening without bursting out like the Incredible Hulk. I don’t know if mine was mislabeled or if they just really suck at sizing but I had to return. I’d order another one but the sizing was so off I don’t even know where to start.
This is a review not of the bra design itself, but of the particular item I received. I was excited about the bra when I initially tried it on--seemed like it would work well for me and actually provide sufficient support, which is not typical for a wireless bra in this size (34DDD). Unfortunately, I immediately noticed the odor of mold on it. I am deathly sensitive to mold (like it can actually bring on delayed anaphylaxis, even if I'm just wearing an item that has spent time in a moldy location, even if it doesn't have mold growing on it itself). Pretty soon, I started to get my typical mold exposure symptoms--itching, tickling, stabbing nerve pains. So most likely I have a night of insomnia and having to take Benadryl to keep anaphylaxis at bay to look forward to, thanks to this bra. Clearly the Nordstrom warehouse or store this particular one came from is very water damaged. I'm horrified to think of moms receiving nursing bras from there and the danger exposure to mycotoxins on the fabric could pose to newborns. That is unconscionable. It's like storing clothes in a peanut factory when some people might have allergies. I didn't find an option to make this concern known in writing to Nordstrom, so hopefully this review brings it to their awareness.
