Proslong-wearing, classic, reliable
This has been my color for years. I have tried other lipsticks and this one lasts longer and feels better than so many other lipsticks.

Perfect Pin-Up Red

Proslong-wearing, non-sticky, moisturizing
I have olive NC35 skin that turns NC 42 with a tan. Red-y to Wear is a neutral medium red with definite pink undertones. There is no hint of orange, wine, brick or tomato red. This is a classic cherry red for me and lasts 4-5 hours before fading into a light stain.
The key to great results is application. Make sure lips are moisturized and exfoliated first. I use a lipliner to keep the color in place, then apply 1-2 swipes lightly to either my top or bottom lip, smudge both lips together and then blot as the formula is highly pigmented. I also like to dab my finger on my lips and apply to both cheek temples for a perfectly matched blush. Sometimes, I set application with just a touch of Clinique's lipgloss in Juicy Apple.
Great price for a department store lipstick- formula is moisturizing, not tacky and very flattering on yellow undertones. If you are looking to try a red lippie, I highly recommend this one!

My go-to lipstick!!!
PostedJuly 28, 2014
I own many lipsticks, Estee Lauder, Marc Jacobs, LORAC, Loreal, Rimmel, Trish McEvoy and so on, but I always use Clinique's High Impact Lip Colour in Honey Blush when I just want to feel confident that its a good color without trying to "make" some color work with a particular outfit or whatever. I use it All every time, to the point of digging it out of the tube with a file! It feels good, it always compliments my medium skintone and hazel eyes and its one less thing to worry about when I wear it:-)
