I purchased this dress for my daughter's wedding. I first purchased the blue but it was so dark blue it looked black. I did purchase the Opal and the fabric is beautiful. Very elegant, simple dress. No problems on the return. Nordstrom has wonderful customer service.

Lovely, elegant and flattering dress, satiny soft, stretchy and comfortable. I am 5'2" and 130 lbs, with a size 34 bust. I ordered a size 10 to give ma a little more room on bottom than an 8 would, since this is a sheath (and I am the mother of the groom!). It fits "like a glove," but will need some alteration on top to keep the shoulders from slipping off. Probably a petite would have been better proportioned for me and need no alteration at all, but it doesn't seem to come in petite sizes.
I am thinking of it for my son's July afternoon wedding, to be worn with pearls to brighten it up. The navy is a very dark navy. It does come in other colors. But this one slims me nicely without being black (which I don't want to wear). I wish the navy were just a bit lighter for the afternoon event. So I will keep looking. But right now, this is a contender!

I love this dress as does everyone else. I said it fit a "little small" just so you know that as everyone else here has said, you should order one size up which is what I did and it worked out perfectly. The petite size only comes in one color which is unfortunate but it is a knock out all the same. I am wearing it to my daughter's wedding and after so many attempts at finding "the dress" I am so glad I took a chance and ordered this one. I am having lots of fun accessorizing it as well.

This dress is beautful and well made. I loved the color, peppermint, but I had to return the dress because it did not fit properly in the top. I have a small frame and my cup size (C) is not large enough to fill the top. The breast cups were pointed, and would have been difficult to alter. I suggest buying a size larger, as it would have been tight in the hips if I had bought my usual size. This dress would be perfect for the slim hipped, large breasted woman.
