The PERFECT dress

I am a 53 y.o. woman, 5'5" and about 160lbs. I am the type that thinks everything looks terrible on me and I rather stay in yoga pants and a tee shirt. That is until this dress. It is so figure flattering and comfortable. I got the tawny port and it's beautiful. It looks better in person and on than it does on the website. If you're looking for a dress for any occasion from a nice dinner to a wedding, I suggest you get this. I am considering getting it in black as well. It runs a tiny bit small. I wear a 12 and it was a little snug but wearable. I lost a few lbs and now its perfect. So happy to have a dress that works well on a woman my age that isn't frumpy-dumpy or too vavavavoom! Perfect dress.

When I first saw this dress online, I thought it would be perfect for a up coming TX wedding. So I was excited to try it on when it arrived. I ordered it in a 6 and also a 8. The 8 fit perfect. Sorry to say, I'm sending this dresses back. The bust part didn't lay smooth across like it does in the picture. Instead it makes you look like you have pointy breasts. And to make it worse, the pointy isn't in the middle of the breast but off to the side. So disappointed.

I will be turning 50 next month and wanted a nice cocktail dress to wear to my birthday dinner party. While I usually wear a size 14, I ordered a 16 in this dress. It fits perfectly and I have enough room to enjoy my birthday dinner and dessert! Ordering the larger size really works.

My daughter is getting married in Las Vegas in April. We live hundreds of miles apart so no joint shopping trips were possible. She thought she would "help me out" and send a selection of on-line dresses she thought might work for me. This dress was among 5 that she chose. I would have to say I was a little concerned about how much skin was showing but thought I had nothing to lose with the free return shipping (totally part of my decision to purchase). I did read the sizing suggestions and did order 1 size larger. I was hoping to order in petite for length, but that was not available. Package arrived, the dress is beautiful and fit like a glove. I am amazed. I did purchase a satin shawl for an accessory and will wear pearls with it. I am very happy with the dress and never had to leave the house!
