It was love at first sight when I discovered this dress online during the half-yearly sale in August 2012! I ordered it in purple, which fit with my daughter's color scheme perfectly. She loved the look, as did I. The color is lush and gorgeous. The fabric is shiny, but tastefully so. The style is very flattering, especially if you have curves or a slightly fuller figure. I received tons of compliments. On me, it runs a little small in the hip/waist area and a little large in the bust/shoulders. My usual size at the time I ordered was 12, but I bought a 14 because of reviews that said it ran small. The 14 fit me. Since I had found the dress almost a year in advance of my daughter's wedding, I also bought a second one in the next size up, in case I put on a pound or two by June 2013, which is just what happened! I ended up wearing the larger size, which needed minor tailoring by an excellent Nordstrom seamstress to make the shoulders fit. I was able to return the unworn smaller dress without a problem. Yay, Nordstrom! I'm 5'3" and the dress length, to the knee, was just right for my daughter's evening wedding. I felt sleek and lovely--not words I normally use to describe myself.
I love this dress. It is very slenderizing and hides many faults women my size often have. (5'3 size 38ddd). I am wearing it slightly off the shoulders which makes it gently show off the bust without looking like you are falling out of the dress. I felt the skirt was a little to long and boxy for me. I had it tapered in at the sides and shortened. I plan on wearing to to my daughters wedding . Very Elegant!
I've been shopping for 'my step daughter's wedding and bought many dresses, but this is the one. It's a flattering fit if you have curves, and the length is great for an evening wedding. It comes just below the knee and I'm 5' 5". I got the midnight blue. I wish it was a hint lighter - the picture online looks lighter than in person. But it's a classic color.

I bought this as a bridsmaids dress. I really dislike the flap on the side. It is unflattering and unecessary. Without it, I think this dress could be pretty nice, especially with alterations on the length - though not spectacular. I'm also not a fan on the fabric as it's too shiny for me, but I can see that's a matter of personal taste. I am returning this.
