Beautiful from front, strange from back

Bought this for my mother who is a bit bigger on the bottom than the top. It fit her well in the skirt and the top was a teeny bit large but still looked very flattering from the front. However (and maybe this is because the top was a bit big?) the back had some strange pouffiness in the back. It looked like she had voluminous shoulder blades! Because of that, this dress is going back. If you are an hourglass figure the fit up top is probably better and this might work better for you.

This is the final dress that I chose after ordering at least ten different ones. It is beautiful and elegant. Honestly, it looks great. This designer runs small, so order a larger size, it will save time. So relieved to finally have something that I like. Nordstrom has the very best buyers. Thank you Nordstrom.

My husband actually picked out this dress for me for our son's October wedding after I looked for months to find the right one. He kept telling me all night that I looked very elegant and classy. I got a lot of compliments and felt very pretty in it. Just a few suggestions to Nordstroms: Please make this dress available in Petite sizes. I had to pay to have it altered because it was too long. In addition, please show all colors available year round. I had to exchange it after I saw that a silver color became available a few weeks before the wedding which was perfect as it was one of the wedding party's colors. It was easy to exchange but would have preferred to get the right color the first time around. I would highly recommend this dress. The material is beautiful, did not wrinkle after sitting in it and was very comfortable all night.

This is the fifth mother of the bride dress I have ordered for my daughter's May evening wedding and I am keeping this one... I am a 2 petite and the dress fits perfectly- and it is comfortable. I would never have ordered the navy but it matches the wedding colors and it is close to black, my "go to color"...
