This was my first on line purchase from Nordstroms and couldn't be more pleased. When I placed my original order it said it would not ship until Aug 2nd, I needed it for my son's wedding, Sept 15th. I got a bit nervous when I read that the fit rating ran small so I then ordered another in a bigger size just in case the first one didn't fit. The larger size showed up first, packaged beautifully but I was a little disappointed with the fit, it was very pretty but when I put it on it looked a little droopy. About a week later the smaller one showed up and when I put it on I felt absolutly gorgeous. The way the dress is cut needs to be fitted through the back/waist/hip area, read the size chart, if your measurements fall within a size order that one. I can't wait to wear this, I know I will receive may compliments. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the price, a little high but very good quality and beautiful rich fabric. And the free shipping for returns is a great plus, I will order again. I also received a thank you card from the wedding department after I had made a call, very impressive.

Other reviews have said buy a size larger. I am a 10, and my normal size fit well. It's cut narrow in the hips and thighs, and the bust is larger than usual, so I needed to wear a padded, push up bra to fill it out. And as usual with a sleek dress, I wore tummy and waist control underwear for a smooth line.
I will wear this in late September as a mother of the bride. Great color also.

Love the dress, the Mad Man styling, but the fit was not true to size. Just ordered a larger size and hope it arrives in time for the wedding I was planning to wear it for. The top is cut smaller than the bottom at least on the one I received and I could barely zip it up. Was not going to work. Hope the larger size will work, but afraid it may need alterations. Note I am not busty on top just a B cup, so no issues with that. Love it styling wise, but the sizing issues leaves a lot to be desired.

Love it! Ordered it on-line, came in one week, the fabric is really good quality, it's true to it's size. I wish Nordstrom had my size in Blue color, but they didn't at the time. Great buy for the money!
