Loved the idea by one reviewer to add a broach at the waistline. I have a very old costume one from my Mother (circa 1940's) which really sets off the dress. I am usually a 6 but thought I might need to go up a size in this dress after trying on similar dresses in the store. It is a tad big on me but if I had to stick witht he 8 I could make it work. I have ordered the 6 to see if it works out better. I ordered in navy blue and it is a beautiful color...nice alternate to yet another black dress. And...very flattering style. This dress is very flattering and would be great for many types of special occasions. The caveat is that it does not have that "fun" factor. It is understated, elegant, and yet has some feminine sexy to it.

The top portion of the dress was a perfect fit both front and back but that flap on the side did not sit as elegantly on my body as it did on the model. In fact it has a mind of its own.

I bought this dress for my daughter's wedding in September. Very flattering fit. I love the way you can wear the shoulders of the dress up or down to the sides. Beautiful color, beautiful fabric.
