I have read reviews that debate the formulations. I have a 2019 bottle and had never smelled this before (blind bought, in fact). Based on reviews I was a little nervous that this would just not be for me even though I have several Chanels. To me, it is a very pleasant, kind of hard to describe elevated scent. It's not crazy beast-mode, and it isn't all that aggressive. It's a tricky one because it is hard to locate and sample, but if you had put off a purchase like I did, hopefully you can feel OK with a blind buy like me. It would seem hard for anyone to say this is not a pleasant scent.
I do like some other Chanels better though, specifically Egoiste and Pour Monsieur Parfum. Maybe Bleu and Platinum as well, will have to keep working Antaeus into the rotation for a while to decide. Definitely a keeper though.
Love the smell of this cologne more than the new one Chanel blue for men. This cologne stay on throughout the day with just one spray. Very unique , distinguished smell not too strong and not too light Just perfect balance of masculinity.
