I have used this product for over 10 years with great success. A few years ago, the brush applicator was changed to an eye dropper. Seemed to be a ploy to force one to use more product and replenish sooner, but I could work with it. Recent purchase of a new bottle has a different formula that is so thick, it won't even go into the eye dropper applicator. Even worse, every time I have used this bottle, my cuticles have ended up dried out and sore. This is the only thing I have used so it is the only possible culprit. Not sure why a good thing was ruined. Returning what's left next time I go to Nordstrom and looking for similar product from a different brand.
Reliably effective. Works as advertised. For me, it is well worth the price.

Black mold in the bottle?

Black flecks of what looks to be mold developed in the bottle. DL Customer Service said this is not normal, so you might be luckier than me. Didn't save the receipt, so no refunds for me. Good Luck!
Over the past year I’ve been giving myself manicures. Cuticles are the most annoying part of the process for me. I received this product a few days ago and have used it two times. I am impressed. My plan is to use it every other night and follow with the cuticle oil. So far, I am very pleased with the results. The only reason for the four stars is I have only used it a couple of times. However, I have high hopes for my manicures being enjoyable thanks to this cuticle remover!
