This dress looks great in the picture, but in person the fabric is heavy and runs big, so it ends up looking like a heavy, flapper dress, rather a fitted, little black dress. If I keep it, I will need to alter it.

I liked the idea of this dress, but the runching/layered fabric made my stomach look like it had a pooch. Im not super skinny, but i definitely don't have a stomach that sticks out. I also ordered a size 4 and could have gone down a size.

This is a beautiful, understated dress. I was looking for a versatile dress, that I could wear with different accessories and use it multiple times across the seasons! This dress is definitely that! I usually wear 2P-4P and I am 5'3 and weigh 118lbs. I lift weights though and my back is a little wider than the average woman s so this dress was to tight around the upper back for me. Also because I lack some curves it did make me look a bit rectangular and not very feminine. The length was a very flattering above the knee length. It is a thick, fluid material that will definitely hide a few flaws without spanx. I had to send it back but I'm sure this will work for most petites.

My only suggestion is to perhaps order a size down. Pretty much I'm a solid 12, but with the way this fits...(you want it tight to the body to flatter curves)...the 12 in this dress was actually a bit big I thought.
