This dress lives up to all the great reviews. It fits perfectly according to the true fit suggestion. I'm 5' 7" 130lbs and I ordered a size 4. I really love that it is form fitting but doesn't show panty lines etc. I am able to wear this dress with a regular strapless bra without the band showing in the back. I am very happy with my purchase. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that a little thread near the hem that keeps the lining from riding up seems to be mis-sewn. It hangs weird on that one side. I was able to clip the threads with scissors and solved the problem. I can hand sew it if it rides up in the future. Either way, it was an easy fix and not worth the hassle of exchanging the dress.

This is a lovely, classic dress. Good body to the fabric and not too snug as so many in this style seem to be. Perfect fit! Excellent choice for a cockatail or dinner party. A keeper.

Absolutely beautiful dress, Very sophistocated yet not too revealing. GREAT for your "little black dress". I decided to wear red to the event, one of the other dresses I ordered from Nordstrom, but I am keeping the black one because I am so sure I am going to need it soon! LOVE IT!

This dress is perfect for every occasion. It shockingly lets you wear a strapless bra, although the pics look like your back brastrap would show-- it actually doesn't.
The dress doesn't even wrinkle alot either- I packed it in a suitcase for an out-of-town wedding and it looked awesome.
The dress hits just below your knees, so if you are going for fun/sassy.. get it hemmed.
Hides your less-flattering areas, and slims you down alot I think. The horizontal pleats really help make you look thinner. :) A MUST HAVE!
