I'm a bit breathless. I'm round, yup, round and short (5'1") and I would NEVER purchase a "sheath" dress based on my body type...I'm an empire-waist-kind-of-girl...let the fabric skim over my curves. This dress, based on the reviews, I thought I'd try, just for a chuckle. Oh my! IT FITS!! That's right, it FITS little round me and looks great! What other reviewers have said, is that it's stretchy, has a built in under-slip of a heavy jersey that acts as its own SPANX. Could even wear braless (yes, that's what I said), and I'm a 38DD. ALSO, I bought it in two sizes to try, a 14p and a 16, and the 16 fit better and came to the knee. Can you tell I'm pleased? I've never written a review, but I couldn't wait to race down to my computer to sing the praises of this lovely masterpiece of a dress. If you are in doubt, just TRY IT. :-) Happy happy joy joy

This is sure to become my fallback dress for anything a little black sheath would work for. It's very comfy and flattering. I am 5'10" and the length hits just above the knee on me which is perfect. The nice jersey is just tight enough to act as a girdle for a comfortable and confident night. I have learned over many jersey purchases that I can order one size smaller than my usual dress size because of this nice tight fit. It is a timeless piece that can be worn for years. Easy to wear a jacket, shawl or pashmina over. Love it.

I wore this dress Saturday night & had so many complements on it. It fits beautifully, is comfortable & is very elegant. I just lost 55 lbs. and felt so pretty in this dress. I highly recommend it, especially for the holidays!

this is perfect - i can't believe how well it fits and hides everything. It is very very comfortable and when another reviewer said she didn't have to wear a bra I couldn't believe it but it is true - even for someone with a very large chest. You can't go wrong with this - I am 5'3 and the petite was perfect!
