So I actually bought this for myself and got the XL and it fits great (similar to sz S in adult). I usually wear a sz small in women's north face and have purchased XL kids in the past and the fit is very similar (for reference I am 5'3, 108 lb, 32B). The purple color is really rich and pretty and you can't beat the price from the anniversary sale! So if you are petite and want to save a few bucks, it never hurts to try the kids section :)
