A Great Disappointment

I purchased this boot to replace an old pair of Uggs that my husband has worn to practically threads. His old boots were exactly what we have expected and grown to love about Uggs over the last 12 years or so. These boots, however, seemed to be a cheap copy. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that the shearling did not continue throughout the foot bed! The shearling (it is so thin and cheap - I hesitate to call it that) was only used on the boot shaft. The low quality of this shearling is seen in the fact that the boot shaft does not stand up on its own. This is the 7th pair of Uggs I have purchased, and thankfully the only dud. They were promptly returned.

My husband's foot was toooo wide for this boot. Over the past few years, he has purchased several styles of Ugg Boots for men, and it appears that only a couple styles have the width he needs.
Beautiful boot the Hartsville, well made and sure and true quality, just too narrow and tooo short for him. We will go back to other Ugg brands that are wider--Beacon, Stoneman or the newest Polson. Thanks for trying...

I bought them in size 9 for my husband who is 81/2. They were too small. I have to exchange them for a bigger size. Plus they are not fully lined. The portion above the foot doesn't have fur. Other than that, they look great. They very light.
