I wear a size 18 but I know how shapewear fits so I decided to order the 3x just to be safe. Well the 3x was super small. I had a hard time getting it on. I am very tall too. So maybe that is why. My figure is more of a long torso and shorter legs. So I carry my height in my torso. This shapewear also cut off half my rear. It just didnt look right. Maybe I didnt thave it pulled up enough? I dont know for the money I am still on the fence whether I am going to keep it or not. I wish spanx sold shapewear for longer torso. As far as support this cut off about 4 dresses size for me..haha Cant complain about that.

Proswardrobe staple, comfortable
Bought this in black and nude. Love the high waist. When you pull it up, it doesn't roll down and scrunch around your waist. It does have straps if you want to use them, but I've found they aren't really necessary. Love the long lean line it gives under skirts and pants. At the end of the day it's still comfortable. Doesn't pinch or move around on you.

Prosflattering
I ordered 2x and 3x because I was not sure of what size to order. The 2x fit. The 3x was on back order so I contacted Nordstrom via the online chat and they happily cancelled the 3x order for me. Very easy transaction. I have a body shaper that is another brand that I personally like better for fit, comfort and control but the spanx is not bad at all. It does a good job too.
