I ordered this dress for my mom based on good reviews. She usually wears size 8 or 10; for this dress, we've got size 8 and it was still a little big. The fitting was not good and the fabric also feels no soft at all.

This dress is prettier than expected. I needed it for a special occasion and it fit nicely. The top of the sheath dress is a little larger than expected, but the hip area and length fit just as described.

As MOB, I have ordered eight dresses this month....all size 12. All dresses fit, but indicated I am between a size 10 and 12. So, when the website said this dress ran large I ordered a 10 with confidence. However, I could only zip it as far as mid-back - so if you are busty......the 10 will not fit. If you are a 34B/C....you are probably safe. But not a 36 D or DD. I reordered the dress in a 12 and the Nordstrom associates on the website really went to work for me, because this dress was supposed to be OUT until August. It is perfect. I used to be a clothing rep and this dress is really lovely, tasteful, and well-made. The sheath is cut well and curves with the body. It looks like a $500 dress. .....a real winner.

Beautiful looking dress and material but the dress was "scratchy" with the gold threading. And unfortunately there was a tear at the bottom of the zipper. The dress was obviously a return and apparently had not been closely checked before being sent out again. It didn't matter I suppose since it was too snug in the hips for me anyway but I was surprised at the condition of the dress. Doesn't fit with Nordstrom's usual high standards! But we are all human and anyone can make a mistake. I still like Nordstrom's!
