This is what I am wearing to my daughter's wedding in October. I ordered this online. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for and the price very, very fair. Fitted me true to size. I am a larger size 8+/ and hope to loose prior to wedding date so it can be taken in but at any rate I loooooove it. GOOD LOOKING and CLASSIC!

I love, love, love my dress! It's just what I envisioned wearing to my son's wedding. I highly recommend it for both Mothers-of-the-Bride as well as Mothers-of-the-Groom. It's very nice!

Ordered 3 Nordstrom dresses online for my third mother of the bride dress. This one is the keeper. Online it looked all white, but it has a lovely metallic gold thread running through the fabric and beautiful gold toned small gems adorning the top edges. The embellishments set it apart as dressier than an ordinary dress. The wedding is in November in Miami. The jacket may be taken off in heat, but I will be glad to have it in air conditioning. I am a seamstress and this fabric is substantial and high quality, with no clinging or undergarment lines showing through. I love the Tahari tailored cut. I wore a Tahari for my last mother of the bride dress last year. Knowing the fit, I ordered one size down as suggested. I am 5'6" and 138 lbs. and measure size 4 on top and 8 on bottom. I normally order a 6 but ordered a 4. It fit exactly as expected: a little snug in hips, a little loose in bust. My daughter said it fits fine with Spanx but I prefer a little more hip room and will let the seams out slightly. I have very narrow shoulders, causing the straps to be set a little too wide and falling off the shoulders. There is a center seam in the bodice where I will take it in slightly. If you have average shoulders and bust, this would probably not be an issue.
