Very elegant and just perfect for the mother of the bride. The only problem is that the size 4 is a little snug under the arms. I am waiting to visit my seamstress to see if she can alter this very lovely dress and jacket.
I already had this dress in blue and silver, and knew that it is very flattering on. I needed an elegant daytime dress which I could wear at religious services and then the following party with dancing. With the jacket, it is matronly and appropriately modest. Once you take the jacket off, it is form-fitting and flattering on the body. The cream color with gold threading throughout makes it rich-looking but beware of potential snags. It is above the knee but not too short. It's two outfits in one and versatile.
