This is a beautiful outfit. However, I need it for a July wedding and the material seems a bit heavy for a summer wedding. It was more matronly than some of the other dresses, but it fit very nicely

Proselegant, form fitting
The dress is very elegant for a wedding or similar occassion. However, it definately was a lot different than what I expected compared to the picture online. The dress is darker than it appeared in the picture and the picture did not reveal the gold stitching throughout the dress. At first I did not like it when I first opened and saw it. But when I tried it on, it looked very nice. I bought the dress based on another persons review that said the dress was darker than it appeared. Being the mother of the bride I did not want to be dressed in too light of a cream color. It is a perfect beige color.
The dress does, however, run big. When ordering, I would recommend if you are in between sizes, ordering the smaller one.
I would like to see Nordstrom put more effort into providing more accurate and detailed pictures.

This dress suit is very beautiful. The ivory and gold color is lovely, as is the fabric. If it's any help, I'm 5'4" and weigh 130, and the 8P fit perfect, which is what I usually wear, so I think the fit is true to size. I love it.

AFTER READING THE REVIEWS (RUNS LARGE) I ORDERED THIS ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN USUAL. IT WAS TOO SMALL. I RETURNED IT AND REORDERED THE SIZE I NORMALLY BUY AND IT FIT GREAT. I WORE THIS TO MY DAUGHTER'S BAT MITZVAH AND RECEIVED RAVE REVIEWS FROM BOTH WOMEN AND MEN. WHILE MOST OTHER WOMEN WORE THE TYPICAL BLACK DRESS THIS REALLY STOOD OUT. MY SISTER WANTS TO BORROW IT FOR AN UPCOMING EVENT!
