Bought this to wear for a retirement gala and it will be perfect. Dress is true to size and love that it comes with the jacket. Very chic.

After searching long and hard for the perfect wedding dress for a fifty-something pear shaped petite woman (P6), this was the outfit I chose. It was perfect! The color of the fabric was not quite white, more ivory with a little gold thread in the weave with a little bit of sparkle in the trim. My wedding was late September so the weight of the material was just right... not too heavy, not too light. I received many-many compliments on my dress with matching jacket. Whether a bride or mother of the bride/groom, you can't go wrong with this well made suit. For the price this classic suit is a bargin.

This is a beautiful outfit, but I bought it to wear to an event in Florida, but the material is far too heavy for the occasion. I will be returning this dress.
