I have worn this color for at least 2 years 2-3 times a week because it's terrific with green eyes and neutral enough to go with almost everything. Laura M stays on all day and looks the same from the time I put it on until the end of the day.

Proseasy to blend
I have several Laura Mercier eyeshadows and generally, they are are a great staple. Some colors are more powdery than others and the colors tend to be softer and muted. They blend nicely, but these shadows are not a must have for me. They're not as long wearing or buttery (like Burberry), but my pet peeve about these shadows is that they never look new when you buy them. There is always excess powder in the case and generally look like they've been lightly swatched.
I purchased almost 20 Laura Mercier eye colors. Most of them matte, several sateens and a few lustres. The sateens held up fairly well, the mattes extremely well, however the lustres only lasted a couple of hours before completely fading out. I have very oily skin and always use a face and eye primer even if I'm not wearing any eyeshadows or foundation. The bamboo color is gorgeous and the topaz is beautiful as well. Good color payoff. I actually put topaz on one lid and bamboo on the other and by 10am (applied at 7:30am) you couldn't tell the difference between the two.

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting, brilliant color
I choose the sundown color and I so love it.It's easy to apply. last all day long ,with just a little sparkle..If you like shades of brown eye shadow you will like this one.
