I ordered both a nude and a black, both my normal size of 40D. The nude fit perfectly, but the black one was a bit snug in the band. When I hold them up together, the black is a good 1" shorter overall than the nude one. They recommend going up a band and cup size for this style, but my normal cup size is fine in both bras. I am not sure now which band length I will get if I reorder the black one! The nude one is true to my size but the black band is not. I plan to return the black one and try again.
I wear band size 40 in nearly all brands I have tried, and my ribcage measures 36". My full bust measures 42.5" and I nearly always take a D cup, occasionally a DD. The Wacoal size chart says I need a DDD-DDDD (F-G) cup size, but no way!
I have been wearing this bra for several years and keep coming back to it even though it is not very attractive! It looks like a granny bra but is the only bra I have ever found that makes me feel confident and able to stand with good posture while my breasts stay in place. Also my larger breast doesn’t come popping out the top and my smaller breast fills the cup. I wear for both sports (tennis) and every day use. Normally I wear a 32ddd but wear a 34d in this bra. Because the cups are on the outside, they don’t dig into my smaller frame the way a lot of bras do. Normally I find I have to wear French bras to avoid the big cup size digging in. Nipples do show through a bit. The straps adjust enough for my small shoulders, barely.

The back rides up, the fabric on the cups is so thin that it makes it very uncomfortable for working out. it is my least favorite sport bra but I keep it in case I don't tackle the laundry fast enough but just the thought of having to wear it makes me wanna do the laundry right away. I can't recommend.
