I was looking for something to wear that would flatter. Most of the reviews were glowing. There was only one color available, the plum, so I ordered it I'm SO happy! I sometimes buy clothes on line, but almost always return them. The reviews were pretty good so I took a chance and am glad. It is really beautiful. It has a low neckline, which is keeping me from wearing it to a religious ceremony at a temple, but will wear it a lot in the spring and summer. Very feminine.

I am a 36D, so this dress made me look matronly. The bodice would better suit someone with a smaller chest, as it sort of puffs up in that area. I realized I need a dress with smoother profile in the chest area (which I think I've found). Also, the Empire waist did not fit right - too tight in both size 8 and 10. Size 8 was too small overall and size 10 was still too snug in the waist although the bodice was too big.

I ordered this dress because the reviews were favorable, and, of course, I liked it. However, this dress is not for me. It makes me look frumpy, and I am many things but never frumpy. So, I sent it back. I have 2 other dresses by Suzi Chin and they fit perfectly.

I ordered this dress as a back-up in case another one didn't work out. It's a beautiful dress, though even with being a slender 5'2, I felt a little self-conscious about the way it clung to my butt. The pleats actually fell straight because the dress was pulled tight. Otherwise it fell beautifully in the front, and the detailing is gorgeous, in addition to being a super comfortable dress. Like all dresses on me, since I am a petite, I would either have to wear it long (below knees)or get it hemmed.
