Very comfortable, good looking and well made shoe. I normally wear 8.5 EEE, but this shoe fits perfectly in size 42. I find ECCO does not skimp on the width of their shoes.
I bought this pair for my husband. He usually stands on his feet at work for long hours, usually between 8-14 hours. I read previous reviews and saw positive comments so I decided to give it a try. The first 2 days my husband wore them he thought his feet were hurting a lot but didn't tell me about it. He thought he just needed to break them in. On the 3rd day, he was working longer hours and was on his feet for almost 14 hours, his feet hurt so much that he had to tell me. We decided to return the shoes because if it's this painful to "break in" a pair of shoes, he'd rather not have to go through that process.
I bought these at the Anniversary sale. I was first drawn to their styling, it is different because of the split leather that runs through the centerline. Then I tried them on and they were comfortable right out of the box, very true to size. Normally shoes that have leather as thick as this have a bit of a break in period. The leather on these is supple and pliable. I wore them for three days straight and did a lot of walking; these might just be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The color (I bought the brown) and style I felt would look good in a business casual setting, paired with khakis. They do. That said, they look great with dark blue jeans. I am so pleased I bought another pair of Ecco shoes on the last day of the sale!
