nice bra - too tight

I ordered the size I usually buy but it was a bit too tight. I have never bought a bra without trying it on. I'll have to travel to a Nordstrom store to exchange it and try on other sizes. It's nice smooth soft material. I think I will like the next size up either in back or cup.
I'm petite but the extra couple of pounds are in my back and I love racer back tanks. This bra is really pretty flattering smoothing my back Ii wish the straps were adjustable other wise the bra would get 5 stars!
First of all, I LOVE Spanx - it's the ONLY bra I wear. For some reason the racerback bra does not work for me. It doesn't eliminate the back fat and I've tried several sizes. I'm normally a 34 and I've tried the 34, 36 and even 38 and I still have the same problem with the back/side bulge. I don't have this problem with the regular Spanx bras. I really wish this bra had worked for me - my other problem is the strap falling so I'm usually tugging at my bra strap (even with the Spanx). I thought this bra would have been my all-time perfect bra but it didn't turn out that way. Again, I love Spanx but this bra just didn't work for me.
