I purchased the shaper briefs because I had heard such good things about Spanx products and needed something "smooth" to wear under a dress I had purchased for a wedding. I followed the size chart but found the shaper briefs extremely difficult to put on. However, once they were in place they were comfortable and would have worked perfectly if there was no necessity to use restroom! For this reason alone, they had to be returned.

These briefs do not slip down, that is true. The leg bands are not the most comfortable, and the pantylines are much more visible than I'd like. They do provide great shaping.

I had a formal event 5 weeks after giving birth. I needed the extra help to hold my stomach in under my ball gown. These were very comfortable and seamless. I will use them a lot more in the future now that I know their magic.
