This brush applies foundation flawlessly (I love Luminous Silk!) and is infinitely better than its predecessor. When I first started using Luminous Silk, I purchased the blender brush as well, which was quite possibly the worst brush in history. The bristles would break off no matter how well I cared for it. When I purchased my latest bottle of Luminous Silk, the saleswoman let me know that the brush had been updated with synthetic bristles and asked if I would be willing to give it another try. I was skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose (thank you, Nordstrom's amazing return policy). I'm so glad that I repurchased this brush! It stays soft after each washing and doesn't require conditioning (which the last one did) and blends foundation beautifully.
I absolutely love this brush! I have used so many different makeup brushes and this is by far my favorite, it blends the foundation so incredibly well and doesn't streak very much at all. Also the brush is so soft and never leaves little hairs behind on your face during use. I've had this brush for about two years and it is still holding up strong and remains just as soft even after washing it hundreds of times. I do find though that this brush works better with a thiner foundation formula like the GA Luminous Silk or the Chanel Vitalumiére Aqua, but it does still work for a thicker formula just not as well. Over all, this is my go to makeup brush and I would highly recommend it!
