I LOVE Jo Malone — so many beautiful, unique scents..... and Orange Blossom has just moved to the top of my list of all time favs!! Love, love, love it!! (And so does my husband—We’ve been married for 35 years and he says its the best I’ve ever worn!)
I should love this one based on the notes and user reviews but, by itself, this one doesn’t sit quite right on me. There’s something that smells a bit like…..licorice (?) and while it does fade after the first several minutes, it lingers in the background and detracts from the overall brightness of the fragrance (Side note: If you’re looking for something citrusy, bright and floral – all the reasons I thought I’d love Orange Blossom – then French Lime Blossom is definitely worth checking out). The Orange Blossom improves when layered with other fragrances, such as Dark Amber and Ginger Lily, and I’ll probably keep it and use that way but will not be repurchasing. As with most of the Jo Malone fragrances I’ve tried, this doesn’t last long, and after an hour I only get faint whiffs of it on myself.
