Fine tights, run WAY TOO SMALL

These tights are fine. Look great on, comfortable, smooth, etc. We bought them for "special occasion" wear. They are fine for an event or two then I'm assuming they get tossed. Maybe better, I just haven't tested them. I'm writing mostly with another data point on sizing. My 7 year old is tall and medium/slender (53" and 64 lb) so I know she's usually a 10. But, here the 10-14 size tights BARELY pulled up long enough to fit her legs. Given the size chart, I would have expected that fit on 7-10 but not 10-14.
I strongly recommend you SIZE UP when you order and don't be put off by the fact that you might be 6-8 years ahead of your daughter's age/size!! And, Nordstrom, if you revise the size chart, please make it clear when you do or there will be equal and opposite confusion!!

very short tights

We bought the size 10-14 for our 10 year old daughter who is 61 inches and 75 pounds, well within the size chart guidelines. They are just too short--by a good 5 inches!
