Comfortable sandals
PostedJuly 22, 2012
Proscute light, comfortable
ConsMedium width
I love Athena Alexander sandals. I own several styles and they are all comfortable. However, in this style I got a small blister on my left foot where the straps twist. After a couple of times of wearing the sandal it was much better. I would wear these sandals to Disneyland and would have no problem walking in it the whole day!

Prostoo narrow
I've had at least 8 pairs of Athena Alexanders over the years, mostly the 'Sweet' Wedge slide, but this style is extremely narrow and the part that crosses the foot is a synthetic material that doesn't have any give to stretch as far as I can tell. I'm taking them back. I'm usually a 10 medium width although my foot it a bit wide. These will be perfect for a woman with narrow width to almost medium width. I gave them a 4 because they're really pretty.

It slips out of my feet

Prosgood looking, not confortable, slips out the, runs wide
I bought this sandals because I was looking for a beautiful and very confortable sandal to walk around the house after I get from work.
It is really a good looking sandal especially in the Champagne color.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me... It runs a little bit wide but enough not to hold my feet in place. I got my feet tired after using this sandals just for few hours over a carpet floor. I exchanged it for another model from this same brand but the new sandal had a heel a little higher with the expectation that my feet would split in forward and not to the sides of the sandals. It didn't work either. I feel that my feet needs to be snoggled to be in place.
I rated this sandals with 3 stars as average because it could be a good model for someone with wider feet. It is a good looking model and aparently well made too. I really would like it had work for me but I was looking for a confortable sandal rather than a good looking one.

Cute With A Caveat... :-(
PostedFebruary 20, 2012
ConsMedium width
I was looking for an orange shoe and was sure that this would fit the bill. It is a cute shoe but this particular style definitely runs narrow with very little "give" because of the criss-cross style of the wide straps. Be particularly mindful if you have a wide instep. I would recommend to a friend with a narrow foot. I was sorry that I had to return them but the orange Born "Azalea" t-strap shoe I exchanged them for are amazing.... :-)
