Nice belt but narrower than expected

I ordered this belt as a Xmas present for my husband. It had the right look - subtle textured leather, nice buckle that's just shiny enough. The reversibility makes it a versatile belt. The dark brown is quite dark but it's a very neutral brown.
I had to return this however, because the width is only 1 3/8". The online description said it was 1 3/4" which is one of the main reasons I ordered it, as my husband said he wanted a wider belt for a more casual look.

Looks great on and quality is lovely. The buckle is refined - I like the way that it looks on my boyfriend very much and the versatility is great!
I purchased this belt for myself and absolutely love it! It goes great with all of my business casual outfits and shows nicely. Great quality leather and a very nice brown and black!
