A little goes a long way, but too sticky for me :(

Been using this for seven months now. I bought it because I saw it on a list of highly recommended eye products, and it seemed like a lot of women loved it. I needed something to repair the skin around my eyes--I rub them a lot when my allergies get out of control, and it got so bad seven months ago that my undereye are started to become really flaky.
PROS: 1. When I say a little goes a long way, it goes a really looooooong way. Like for me, I'm pretty sure it'll still look like it's only half-used when it's time for me to throw it out for hygienic purposes. I barely touch the gel with my ring finger, and it's already enough to cover my undereye area and along the brow bone above the same eye. 2. The morning after I applied this for the first time, my undereye area was instantly less flaky. And after the second night, there was no sign of flakiness. My undereye skin was back to normal.
CONS: 1. It is so sticky and shiny that you can see it shine through my BB cream. I looked at myself in the mirror in the middle of the work day, and it looked like I had applied a thin layer of Vaseline under my eyes. 2. The gel has literally NEVER fully absorbed into my skin any time I've used it. It can be 17 hours from the last time I applied it, and I'd still able to feel the product residue if I ran my finger across my undereye. There's a little friction and it causes my finger to drag, slightly pulling the skin of my undereye area with it, to be more specific.
The two cons are why I apply this only at night and wash it all off in the morning before my makeup routine. I hate wasting money, so I will most likely continue to use it before I go to bed, but I won't be purchasing it again. I'll be looking for another product to wear during the day that doesn't leave my undereye area looking and feeling sticky. It was amazing for many customers, so I do encourage others to try it. It just didn't work out for my skin.
