This is the right robe for grabbing when you get out of the shower. It covers what needs to be covered and doesn't weigh a ton. I am tallish (5'7"+) and would have liked another couple of inches in length, but I don't plan to wear it in public, so that won't be an issue. It washes well, but I didn't want to sacrifice any length to the dryer, so I just damp-dried it and let the air finish the job.
This rob is the perfect length so your butt doesn't hang out, but it wraps around your torso well. The fabric is light which I prefer to a heavy terry sloth. Just lovely.
This robe is exactly what I was looking for but had a hard time finding elsewhere. I found it surprisingly difficult to find a simple but quality lightweight cotton robe. It is 100% cotton and lightweight so when I'm getting ready in the morning with blow drying and makeup, I don't get hot and sweaty. I like that it's short and not bulky. I use a long plush robe for getting out of the shower and on cold days, and this Nordstrom robe for the reasons mentioned above. The price is great and the online purchase and delivery were fine. I would (and probably will# buy this again in the future. It runs small so get one size larger than normal. I'm a medium but I purchased an XL and am happy after washing #but I also like my loungewear to fit a little loose). I also purchased the baby blue color and find it pretty and soothing to my pre-caffeine morning eyes :)
