We bought this Elmo with no real expectations for our son. However, he loves this Elmo. It is soft and cuddly which is perfect for nap and sleep time. He is great for on the go as well.

Prosvery cuddly
Exactly what I wanted for my 16 month old grandson. He already loves his Elmo and is carrying him everywhere. So much better than a mechanical toy for this age. The material is truly soft and cuddly.
Soft , fuzzy and oh so cute this is one of the best gifts I have purchased in a long time and the first in years that didn't require batteries. Great gift for a child as that "special" gift, the one they carry everywhere, because it can be cleaned up better than any of the ones that require batteries. Much easier for a child to use their imagination while playing when there isn't some noise coming from the toy telling them what to do. Incredibly well made considering the low price. It's a huge bargain.
