When I first got this I wore it with the long chain a few times UNTIL I discovered that I could thread one end of the chain through the hole on the ball pendant TWICE thus making this into a makeshift choker necklace. It's not always easy to accomplish but it can be done. And now I'm SO inlove with it I wear it this way 24/7. I'm planning to have a jeweler work their magic on it so that it can be more easily clasped with a lobster clasp instead of the sliding around method I currently use which gets frusterating since I frequently like to remove it while doing a mask on my face & neck. The quality & workmanship are excellent and I get compliments on it all the time. I'm so glad I decided on the simple "ball" style pendant.
This necklace is lovely. The weight of the silver ball is perfect, not too heavy or too light, and the chain is the right length. I wanted a necklace that I could wear with jeans or a dress and this fits the bill. Dress it up or down. Comes with a polishing cloth. A little pricy but worth it!
