I wear orthotics in my shoes. Because the insole comes out and I can put in my orthotics this shoe is wonderful. It looks good and I can wear it to work or for casual week-end. Th toe area of the shoe is nice and roomy and comfortable. My sister,who does not wear an orthotic rushed right out and bought the same pair. I am going back for the black pair. It is wonderful when you find a shoe that is not only great looking, but serves an additional purpose. I have other Josef Seibel shoes and I do find they run about 1/2 size small for me.

I love Josef Seibel oxfords. However, I have a high arch and the opening on this design didn't allow enough room for me to slip my foot into it. I was really bummed! For someone who doesn't have this problem they are sporty looking

First, it's sized in european units (38, 39, etc), and it's somewhat small. I wear 8 US and in EU I was wearing 38 and here other (Ecco) 38 fits me. But Lindsays I needed labeled size 39. So, 39=8 US for those.
I put them on and wore the whole day long at work first day - no pain, no break in! My feet are not narrow but not too wide. Lindsays are very lightweight and very comfortable. And STYLISH! I get compliments for them. Also, I had a lot of pain finding a comfortable oxfords in exchange for my 10-year old Eccos, and those finally fit! The problem was the heel - I need high and arched backs of the shoes and recently even eccos are making them wrong for me. But those Lindsays are exactly what I need! Color is wonderful too (red-brown). It's perfect for Florida and warm days but would be cold in late northern falls.

This Josef Seibel style is so popular stores were always out of my size so I ordered online without ever trying a pair on. I wish I had. There is very little padding so long walks would be out of the question. I returned them to the store. Nordstrom makes returns very easy and shipping is always fast.
