This is my most favorite jacket by the north face! It's incredibly soft and warm. It is so comfortable I never want to take it off. I currently own 4 and will most likely buy another!
Reasons why I love this jacket: 1) multipurpose- it is warm enough to wear as a jacket in Fall and on warmer winter Michigan days but also can be worn as a layering sweat jacket on cold days. 2) looks/feel- it is soft and looks expensive so it is a go too staple piece for everyday and does not go out of style. 3) wearability- it washes up like new (i hang dry, no dryer) as I have had mine for 3 years. 4) versatility as a gift- I have given this as a gift to my teenage daughter as well as my elderly mother- in black and other colors- both love it and wear it often. It is perfect to wear on errands/social activities in the winter- the mall, movies, grocery store- warm enough for quick outside trips- but unlike heavy down coats, is not too hot to leave on indoors. This jacket is not meant to be worn for extended time outside that you need a down coat- shoveling snow, outdoor winter sports, etc.
This jacket is so soft and Nordstrom had a nice selection of colors. It is just what my daughter wanted for Christmas and as always the shipping was fast.
I recently located from a very warm climate to a extremely cold climate and I fell like I am going to freeze solid. This jacket is very toasty. I get so many compliments. I am positivly getting the matching hat and gloves!
