Returned the jacket. I found another jacket in the store that was more appropriate for the person I was giving the gift to.

This jacket is super soft and comfy! It runs really small - unlike some of my other North Face items, it leaves little balls on all my clothes...other than that it is great.
This is the perfect layering piece or a perfect jacket when you don’t feel like wearing a big coat. It’s warm and cozy but not overly warm. The NORTHFACE brand is affordable quality and style. I’m sure this will be worn a lot this season. It’s so soft and it comes in good colors that go with everything. The only drawback is, it runs a little small. If you’re layering I would consider sizing up. Happy Shopping.
The pictures show a seam across the front below the bust and across the back. I ordered mine on Black Friday (2019) and got the vintage white. It is much more of a cream color and there is no seam across the middle of the front and back. It is all one smooth piece front and back. I still love it. It’s beautiful and so soft.
