Perfect Silk Tee

This tee is perfect on its own or under a jacket. I have several of these that are my go to silk tees for work. I even wash them in delicate and hang dry...and they come out well! While I am petite, I am large busted so always size up. These tees are a classic.
I have several of these Tees and love them but this one was a bit smaller than usual...and no I don't think I had just gained weight. In general this is a great tee for home and travel.

Silk? or polyester?

Cut and fabric are definitely a step above a standard cotton tee, but is this truly silk?
I guessss it's silk, but it actually appears more like a very fine, nice polyester knit. Doesn't drape like silk, no depth of color like silk, etc.
Not what I expected at all. I kept it because the cut is flattering. Petite sizing was accurate.
This item is very overpriced for what is essentially a dressy polyester knit tee. I can buy those at Target.
