Nearly 10 years ago I bought my first pair of Allen-Edmonds which was the Bradley Cordovan. I later needed another pair and bought the Ashton with the rubber soles due to additional comfort for my "flat feet". This is a wonderful shoe, I wear a 10 EEE and I now own two pairs of Ashton's and 1 pair each of the Dalton, Woodstock, Wilbert, Katmai suede, Fifth Ave. , Eastport, Cody, Wayfair and First Baseman. To say I am a happy customer is an understatement! My preference for full re-crafting is always Allen-Edmonds. You may be able to do a sole & heel locally but NEVER a Allen redraft, the shoe is brand new again in your own named be spoken box!!! The best, absolutely!!

I own two pair: One Black and One Saddle / Brown. The inner padding and rubber soles make these shoes the best for being on your feet all day.

These are not inexpensive shoes, but I became a believer after owning several pairs. It is all about the fit and comfort. These shoes offer a great fit and arch support. I lead an active life and I need for my feet to remain comfortable all day. I never have sore feet at the end of the day after wearing these shoes. I have purchased this model a couple of times. These shoes last a long time. The stitching and detailing on the shoes have never ripped open or unraveled.
