I require a narrow shoe. I have worn Allen Edmonds shoes for years and the narrow sized shoe has always fit perfectly. The shoes I received are too wide. It is certainly not the same sizing as all the other Allen Edmonds shoes that I have. This is not a narrow shoe.

This was my 4th of 6 pairs of AE shoes and I bought it to replace another black pair that was my workhorse daily shoe. I'm finally getting around to writing a review after about 18 months. I'm on my feet alot at work and do like the rubber sole. The shoe is just too wide and deep, however, and I think the fact that it's made to accomodate an orthotic just throws off all the sizing. I've tried to wear it with a thicker sock but I just slip too much. Probably should have never bought it in the first place. Maybe I'll try a spacer or something.

Fits loose, sole has a very rough cut on edge. Quality has slipped.
