Drys out skin

I’m not sure if my bottle is faulty, but this stuff dries out my skin and fast. I never have dry skin, even in the winter, so for me to say this means it’s really drying out my skin.
I used this mostly on my neck, I had major discoloration/hyperpigmentation during pregnancy that caused my neck to be very dark. After just 1 week of use, I have noticed a difference. My neck has lightened, I will continue to use this on other parts of my body that had over production of malanin during pregnancy. Unfortunately, I didn’t use it much for the face as it has oily consistency and I already have oily face so I can’t comment on facial use.
Been using this for about 2 weeks now, I'm really starting to notice a difference in my skin tone. I have red blotchy skin and I read that I needed to use a vitamin C serum so I tried this. It smells great and absorbs nicely. I like using it with my jade face roller. I'm interested in trying other Mario Badescu products.
