AGL Flats
PostedJuly 29, 2014
I bought my first pair of AGL flats
over two years ago, and have been
trying to purchase additional pairs.
The last two Anniversary Sales I have
purchased several different pairs and have
not been able to find one that fits like my original
pair. :( I have been told by several sales
associates that because AGL's are handmade
no two pairs are alike :( which means
It will require much effort on my part to purchase, trying
and returning AGL shoes. Will I ever find another
pair of AGL flats that fit?

Stylish comfort
PostedJuly 27, 2014
A friend has been raving about these shoes for years and finally convinced me to make the plunge. I am so glad I did. These are the most comfortable ballet flats I have ever worn. The fact that they are just as stylish makes them a perfect shoe. I can understand why the Nordstrom salesman said they are the #1 selling flat in the world. I highly recommend this shoe- it was worth the money (even if I only took the plunge when they were on sale!)

Comfortable, Stylish, Durable

Proscomfortable, stylish, durable
In general I find AGL Cap Toe Ballet Flats comfortable, stylish and durable. No matter the material (leather or suede) I spray the shoe with Synovia Leather or Suede Protector (sold at Nordstrom) which takes care of my shoes if I'm caught in bad weather. Once a year or when needed I use Weiman leather wipes to clean and condition leather shoes or the leather parts of suede shoes. I'm taking the time to write this because these shoes look delicate. I've spoken to women who are reluctant to buy them for this reason. They're no greater maintenance than any other shoe.
For me this shoe is true to size. The leather at the vamp stretches in the first wear. I've read you can get away buying a half size down, I couldn't. Though the half size down felt fine when I first put it on, after a few minutes my foot was aching in the arch.
The shoe is made of top grade materials and well crafted. The shade of this shoe is neutral (a grey plum) there isn't a color I can think of this shoe wouldn't play well with.
This is my sixth pair of AGL's, in four different styles. I find the brand to make a long lasting shoe, one on which I am often complimented. I expect nothing less from this pair. I've worn them five times sense purchase. The first day I wore them to the Morton Arboretum later grocery shopping. No tired, sore or aching feet. I'm delighted with the purchase.

Nice flats
PostedJuly 21, 2014
Does not have pressure points around toe to foot joints. Although, interior of shoe is also finished leather. Have to use moleskin to avoid friction blisters around heels and had to add arch supports. Otherwise, nice looking versatile flat can be worn casual to dress.
