I got these for my 7yo daughter. She loves them and didn't have to go through any break-in period. I had bought her "flats" that I had to return because they rubbed her heal. She's also quite the outdoorsman and, so far, the shoes are looking great. I was concerned the suede would wear poorly, but no, they're still looking good.

I cant actually vouch for the size because they are a gift that hasn't been given yet BUT they are really adorable,soft,supple and seem well made. I cannot wait to gift them.

These were adorable! I was looking for a bright comfortable shoe to go with my 4 year olds school uniform and these were perfect! We had a hard time getting them on but before sending them back a friend said they would stretch and now fit perfect after 2 wearings.
