MAC's Matte Eyeshadow in Omega is my most used color, even though I love all their matte eyeshadows. It is finely milled, so that it doesn't flake off onto the rest of your face while you're applying it. And it is the perfect color for someone my age and with my coloration (cool). I use it not only on my eyelids, as it provides a marvelous backdrop for the "le no makeup look," but I also use it under my chin as a contour color to make my neck look SLIGHTLY more swanlike. (At my age, "slightly" is the operative word.) It is just a bit darker than my skin color, so it doesn't scream "makeup." I know that all the magazines tout "mushroom" as THE perfect color, but it has gleam in it, so it is more a highlighter than a contour. To me, Omega is the perfect color.

I love Mac eyeshadows, great quality. I am on live with this light pink eyeshadows it gives natural glow and is so beautiful on the eye.

I tried Scene & cozy gray shades. I'm in my 40s and have never tried Mac eyeshadows before. I have tried most drugstore, Nars, urban, morphe, tarte, ulta, ABH, ect. It doesn't last on me, by mid day it's in my crease or smeared looking. I have not tried using with a primer yet. I'm giving 4 stars because the colors are so pretty and what I was looking for. Trying find cool tone - summer type pallet is hard to find. So far my favorite shadows are Nars.
