The pink color is exactly what I was looking for as a brunette with light to medium yellow tone skin. I wear it over the MAC Pink Plaid Lipstick and it's the perfect daytime look! If I'm just running out for a quick errand, a quick swipe gives me a hint of color with great shine and brightens up my face!
I am a big MAC lipglass user and have been for years. I recently purchased a tube at another store and a tube at Nordstrom a few months later. Both had a chemical smell. In the past, they've smelled a bit like cocoa butter, but not these. I returned the tube to Nordstrom and ordered one from another Nordstrom because the one at the store also smelled. Even the one that I got in the mail had that funky odor. It's not bad enough to make me stop using them, but it is bad enough to make me wrinkle my face when I use it. I don't know if MAC changed something in the lipglass, but if they keep smelling this way, I will be looking elsewhere for lip gloss.

I'm admittedly not a huge lipgloss wearer. But MAC's lipglass range has always been one of my go-tos if I do want to add sheen to a certain lip look. While I do hate the thick, sticky feel of it, I know that quality is what helps the gloss last so long.
My favorite look that makes me feel trendy yet sophisticated is wearing Desire lipglass layered over Smoked Purple lipstick. It evens out the application of the lipstick underneath and makes the color seem multidimensional instead of a flat dark purple.
