I generally stay away from matte lipsticks because I hate the feel of them - I like the look, but it's usually only a few minutes and I'm digging in my purse for lip balm. I had a sample of Velvet Teddy, and when I tried it I loved the color and texture, and ordered it right away. I am very fair and have dark hair and green eyes - most nude shades wash me out, but not this one - try it if you have a hard time finding a nude lip color that works for you - this one is not too light, not too dark, I'd think it'd look good on just about anyone.
