I purchased this in "Honey Love" after seeing it on a YouTube video. Love the formula, but the shade is not for me. I have fair skin with rosy undertones, blue eyes and brown hair. The color just kind of made me look washed out.
The Heroine color is vibrant and makes your complexion glow. This has to be my favorite color thus far! I put a little lip primer on and then add the color and it lasts all day.
This lipstick lives up to the hype for sure. I've been looking for a long wearing lipstick for what feels like forever (first world problem, I know), and Ihave spent so much on lip stains/lip colors in hopes of finding one that made my lips not feel gross and stays on for a resonable amount of time. Between Maybelline and ColourPop and a few other brands, I was super frustrated with gloopy formulas, clumpiness and think/crumbly textures. I finally decided to splurge on this, and the difference in the texture is just unreal. This feels like suede on my lips and while it doesn't stay on through greasy or messy food, it doesn't claim to. The reapplication process doesn't make it too thick or gross which I love so I can just do a quick swipe without waiting for it to dry or to gunk up my lips. I have in Ruby Woo after watching too many YouTube videos to decide between this and Russian Red. I'm not disappointed in the least! I just bought the lipliner just to give it a little extra wearing-power, but this is really such a beautiful texture and the Ruby Woo lives up the reviews on being such a lovely color.
