I've been using Clarins products since I was 22 years old and now that I'm 40 I can say with good authority that these products work. This is the best eye solution I've used and even though the price is high you only need a little to cover both eyes. I can make one bottle last almost 6 months, so if you go out and buy a cheaper and less effective product you'll end up buying two or threee in the same amount of time. I prefer the balm because of it's smooth application and matte finish.

Prosdeeply hydrating
Line-Control Eye Balm is a great choice for someone looking for extra moisture around the eye area and to help smooth fine lines. It has a very nice texture and is absorbed well. My only real complaint is the packaging, as others have noted. Aside from the product plugging up the dispensing nozzle, the bottle is far larger than it needs to be which is a drawback if you travel every week as I do. When I'm finished with it, I'll go back to the "Special" Eye Contour Balm from the core line because a tube is just so much more practical. But if you really want a product that says "Men" on it, this is a fine choice.

Magic in a bottle

As a man in my 40s, puffiy bags under the eye seemed to be something I just had to deal with. Along with the puffiness came some darkness too. Once I started using this product, all that changed. The bags have receeded and the darkness is all but gone. I even think wrinkles arriound my eye look less deep. It is a noticable difference. Good product, bad packaging

The product is 'as adversided', however the packaging is poorly designed. Too much product comes out on a single pump - more than 4-5x you would ever use for a single application. And the product dries out at the tip, causing more of the balm to dry up and be wasted. This needs a serious package redesign.
